Offered through the Adult Workforce Education Center at Tolles, Aspire (formerly ABLE) classes are available to adults interested in refreshing their knowledge in language arts, science, social studies and math or preparing for the GED exam.

To get a good job today, you need basic academic and workforce skills, and access to affordable, high-quality higher education options.  Aspire (formerly ABLE) classes are FREE to all eligible students.  Improve your reading, writing and math skills; get ready to go to college or an adult certificate training program to get a better job or prepare for the GED test or ASVAB (military placement exam).  We have daytime classes to fit your schedule but students must attend an orientation session before participating in class.

  • Student must not be enrolled in high school.

  • Students who are 16, 17, or 18 years of age and have not officially withdrawn from high school may not enroll in classes.

  • Students who have an F-1 Visa may not enroll in classes.

ESOL

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) helps non-native English speakers improve reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in English.  ESOL classes are FREE, but students must attend an orientation session to enroll in class.

GED

Tolles is an official GED Test Center. In order to take the GED exam go GED.com where you can register & pay for the test online AND schedule your test session. You must arrive promptly for your exam session. Please arrive 15 minutes early and bring a valid, photo ID.

Did you know there are $80 GED test vouchers available for GED candidates? To take advantage of this offer testers must contact a Career-Technical Planning District (like Tolles) for career and educational guidance prior to scheduling and paying for the GED test.

Testing Hours:

Tuesdays & Wednesday 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

1 Saturday each month, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
