Dr. Todd Hoadley, Superintendent

Welcome to Tolles Career & Technical Center, where our commitment to World Class Career Technical Education shapes the future of our students in Madison County and beyond. Named in honor of Harry E. Tolles, our district's pioneering superintendent, we've built a legacy of excellence since our doors opened in 1974.  Career technical education is provided to students attending our seven founding school districts.  These districts are:  Hilliard City Schools, Dublin City Schools, London City Schools, Fairbanks Local Schools, Madison Plains Local Schools, Jonathan Alder Local Schools and Jefferson Local Schools.

At Tolles, we offer a wide array of programs designed to meet the diverse needs and ambitions of our students. From our main campus in Plain City to our satellite locations, we provide 25 high-quality career-technical programs for high school students and an additional 20 programs across various middle schools and high schools. Our adult education programs are equally robust, offering opportunities in fields such as ASPIRE, ESOL, GED, and specialized career training including Ohio Basic Peace Officer Training and Welding.

Our enrollment numbers are a testament to the trust and value our community places in our education. The main campus serves around 950 students annually, while our satellite programs reach about 850 students. With a graduation rate of 95% and a post-program placement rate of 97%, we ensure our students are not just educated but truly ready to thrive in their chosen careers or further education.

Since coming to Tolles three years ago, we've seen significant enrollment growth and expansion. Collaboration and leadership have been instrumental in aligning our programs with local employment needs, expanding our facilities, and enhancing our satellite programs to include middle school career awareness. Our strategic vision and dedication have propelled Tolles forward, reflecting our core values of innovation, excellence, and community partnership.

Tolles operates under the same levy passed in 1972, maintaining fiscal responsibility while continuously advancing our facilities and programs. Our students gain practical experience by running real businesses such as a licensed preschool, salon, restaurant, and automotive service centers, which equip them with bankable skills for their future.

As we move forward, we remain dedicated to fostering a learning environment that encourages both academic and personal growth.

We invite you to join us in this educational journey, to explore, learn, and succeed at Tolles Career & Technical Center.
